Happy New Year everyone! We are already halfway thru the first month. Zoom! zoom! But I think this is going to be a good year, better than last. More into more solid creation rather than so much upheaval. There was a lot of intensity last year, and I am aiming to diminish that somewhat. I aim to be prepared and move slowly. Not get caught up in the speed & pressure that seems so prevalent now. That creates stress and I am practicing leaving stress behind!
We finished off Candace Pert's interview & teaching with Tami Simon, Your Body Is Your Subconscious Mind. Our mind is what we are paying attention to at any given moment. We are consciousness more than anything. We are flickering flames, said Dr. Pert. Our bodies are dense energy not hunks of meat.
We are listening to neuroscientist, Candace Pert and her audio book, Your Body Is Your Subconscious Mind. Part of it is an interview with Tami Simon from Sounds True discussing the subject. She says the old paradigm that the brain controlled everything in the body, just isn't true. We have receptors all throughout the body as well as in the brain, and our body is our subconscious mind. Which means our societies heavy focus on left brain activity has not really helped us at all.
