Bria Rose McLean

Born in Prince George and raised in Dease Lake, Bria Rose McLean grew up a northern girl. From a young age Bria’s parents instilled the sounds of country, bluegrass, rock, and gospel. It was not long before her interests to sing, play guitar, and write music arose. In school Bria joined every musical, choir, and eventually sang at her high school graduation in Smithers, BC, in front of a full arena. While living in Edmonton, Alberta, Bria performed at a the West Edmonton Music Society’s clubhouse and various open mic nights around the city. Since moving back to the Bulkley Valley she has played at a few northern festivals and breweries (West fest, Iskut Valley Music fest, Smithers Brewing Company and Sherwood brewery to name a few). Last year Bria opened up the Fire Relief fundraiser in Whitehorse with a song she wrote about the wild fires affecting Telegraph Creek, her nations homeland. Her style of singing and writing is an edgy cross between folk, pop and alternative with a comforting feel. Currently, Bria is working towards starting her first album.
