Some Simple But Powerful Energy Techniques

Here is a little exercise that will help you immediately feel more balanced, will allow you to think more clearly, will improve your co-ordination and will harmonize your energies.

This is called the Cross Crawl and young babies do it naturally. It is a necessary part of development. As a grown-up, you can do it by marching and swinging your right hand across your left knee when you lift it and then your left hand over your right knee. Just keep marching in one spot but crossing each hand over the opposite knee.

You are crossing your energies over instead of having them stay one one side of the body only. That creates tiredness and a whole bunch of issues. Crossing them over for a few minutes will totally rejuvenate you.

Here is another simple but effective energy technique. It is called the Crown Pull which releases energy that gets congested at the top of your head. It clears and calms the mind and nervous system. It can take away a headache or a stress-induced stomachache.

While doing the Crown Pull, breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Put your thumbs of both hands at your temples (right hand-right temple, left hand-left temple) with your fingers in the center of your forehead, push in hard and drag your fingers back to each temple. Move hands up, along the midline of the top of your head and dig in and drag your fingers back on each side. Move back a couple of inches and do it again. Keep digging in and dragging with both hands away from and down the midline over the back of your head. Do each each stretch a couple of times.

These little energy exercises are taken from Donna Eden's book Energy Medicine. She is a wonderful energy healer.
