"Food for Thought"...On today's podcast we focus on a couple of articles off the website womenshealthmatters.ca, of the Toronto based Women's College Hospital. 

People approach food and eating in different ways, and have different eating behaviours triggered by different factors, sometimes not triggered by physical hunger... We have  lots of terms for unhealthy eating patterns, but we don't have many terms for healthy eating behaviours...there's emotional eating, chaotic eating, the chronic dieter, restrictive eating, the clean-your-plate eater etc. 

On this program we take a look at the terms "intuitive eating" and "mindful eating" as positive patterns of eating..."craving change" isn't just about what we eat; it's about why we eat.  Learn about the three types of hunger: stomach hunger, mouth hunger and heart hunger and strategies to cope.
