Gillian Hestad, a mental health professional formerly from Smithers, presents a thought-provoking exploration of the "one thing" children need most from their parents.
Gillian has a passion for working with children to help them learn coping strategies for stress and anxiety. She is currently working on her master's degree in social work. Some of the subjects Gillian covers on this program are the value of specific relaxation practices for children including yoga, mindfulness, meditation, visualization, breath practice for relaxation and play as therapy for children.
