Program:
Another conversation with our local ecologist, Debbie Wellwood. On her blog, ravenecological.com, Debbie describes herself as a wildlife ecologist, a naturalist, a carnivore specialist and a science educator. The blog’s tagline is “Living with passion. Travelling off route. Striving for insight.” In her work, she studies creatures like bears, wolverines and fishers.
Debbie also rides a bicycle. She and her partner, Lothar Schaefer, rode their bikes from Smithers to South America, taking four years over the journey. In this conversation, Debbie and I are going to talk bikes and resilience in a time of COVID-19.
