We are now listening to an audio book by modern scientist and cultural visionary, Gregg Braden, who brings old cultural knowledge to combine with the latest scientific findings to create new answers for our society. We have a lot of problems and alot of poor quality thinking at the helm. Braden offers new ideas that are built on old successes from cultures that thrived. We have to admit that our culture is a little iffy at the moment. We have so much materialism but have so little spiritual strength. People are stressed and falling apart even though they have an abundance of worldly goods.

Our strength doesn't come from material things. It comes from our own sense of spiritual empowerment which is an internal state. Do you feel one with the universe or do you feel like you are all alone? That makes a great deal of difference to how you operate and how resilient you are.

Obviously, there is nothing wrong with material goods. We are so lucky to live in such a world, but they are not the answer to our empowerment. Empowerment is an internal state of being that we either feel or do not feel. It is our natural state that we can allow or disallow. If we allow, we will be strong, if we disallow, we will be weak and addiction prone. Since it is our natural state of being, all we really have to do is allow it. But so often our conditioning leads us away into more complicated and confusing directions.

Learning about energy simplifies everything because one doesn't have to take on the confusion of societal conditioning. The latest science and the ancient spiritual wisdom lead the way.
