Today I played an introduction to dreams by worldwide expert on dreams, Robert Moss. He is someone I have loved to listen to right from the beginning when I had two of his tapes. I read two of his books, went to a workshop of his and then bought a series of cds covering many aspects of dreams.
He is a marvellous and learned speaker full of wisdom and creativity. As he says, dreams are 'an immense territory for adventure' and that is so true with his teaching. I am going to play alot, possibly all, of the series. It will open up a whole new world to those who are interested in dreams. It certainly changed how I thought and worked with them. Keep a dream journal to begin with. Set an intention to write it down and keep a journal nearby so you will wake up and can make note of it quickly before it fades away.
Dreams are much more than sleep dreams; there are also waking dreams in a variety of formats. Dreams can offer all kinds of guidance and understanding that we can learn from. I can remember dreams I had when I was a kid. Dreams have always been a important part of my life. At times the energy of the dream has stayed with me for days.
