Spring is coming up fast. Isn't it great? Seems like it is about a month ahead of spring in the old days, but eveyone I have talked to who grew up here in the north, are fine with the good weather. We all love it. We had long cold springs and lots of snow in the old days. I can remember walking across Lake Kathlyn to catch the school bus in a blizzard on a narrow trail in the snow that was up to our waists on the 26th of April. This year, my sugar snap peas and sweet peas will be a few inches high by then. My friend came into my yard yesterday and said 'my horses would love to come and eat your grass' as it is growing robustly. She lives at a higher, cooler elevation. I live in the warmest place I have ever lived right now, and I have to say I really love it.
