Program:

Lucy Maloney is a cycling advocate in Vancouver BC whose particular interest at the moment is the temporary bike lanes along Beach Avenue.

September 28th - October 4th was designated as a BC Go By Bike Week. On Twitter, there were lots of photos and videos in the Vancouver area. One of my contacts had shared a video from a profile simply named Lucy. The video was positive, encouraging and warm, but there’d been some controversy sparked. Apparently, it's not a priority for people to enjoy their commute, or for seniors or children to be able to ride a bicycle in downtown Vancouver. But why not? Lucy and I will talk about lots of great social justice issues today.
