Dylan Penner is a Climate and Social Justice Campaigner for the Council of Canadians.
Founded in 1985, the Council of Canadians is Canada’s leading social action organization, mobilizing a network of 60 chapters across the country.
They advocate for clean water, fair trade, green energy, public health care, and a vibrant democracy. Furthermore, they educate and empower people to hold our governments and corporations accountable.
The Council of Canadians is a registered non-profit organization and does not accept money from corporations or governments. Their work is sustained by volunteer energy and donations from everyday people.
This spring, I became a member of Council of Canadians and was delighted to see among the social justice resolutions on the agenda, one on urban transportation. Dylan and I will discuss this and other resolutions on the Council's list.
