Nardwuar the Human Serviette has been a fixture of the Vancouver arts and music scene for over three decades, this week at the Hollywood Theatre Nardwuar’s Video Vault played and Nardwuar the Human Serviette gave a talk on his career, achievements, and his love for CITR. Danny Nesvaderani at CJSF in Burnaby was there to take it all in.

As a self-taught artist, Mary Fox has been working with ceramics since she was 13 years old, Now, after years of exploring the art and science behind ceramics, Fox is publishing  her second book, al of which proceeds with will go to the Mary Fox Legacy Project, an initiative to help young potters develop their skills at for free. Lauryn Mackenzie at CHLY in Nanaimo has more.

Coast Mountain College is facing major changes after a sharp drop in international student enrollment, which is now less than 10% of what it was in 2023.  After new federal regulations on study permits and post-graduation work programs, kickied in. CMC is looking at a $4 million budget shortfall, forcing them to close the Hazelton campus, and others, by June 30th, 2026. Pam Haasen at CICK News in Smithers has more.
