This is a reairing of Symbiotic Businesses in Smithers, with Shannon West of the Steller Jay Coffee and Dave Harris of the BV Brewery

I love the Smithers downtown. Lots of friendly shopkeepers with items I need and want, where I feel my presence is noticed and appreciated. It feels like a co-operative venture. In our competitive, capitalist world, you don’t see that very often, and it’s in my best interest to support these businesses. Two such businesses have taken the notion of co-operative to a whole new level. The BV Brewery has invited Steller Jay Coffee Cart to open up under its roof—the one offers coffee during the early hours, while the other provides a variety of locally brewed beers later in the day. Coffee and beer: two things I like!
