We continue our Municipal Election coverage in Smithers with three more candidate interviews. Running for mayor against John Bukima is Robert Judzentis. A long-time resident of the Bulkley Valley, this is Judzentis first attempt at politics. We’ll also hear from incumbent councillor Laura Lenard, who has one term under her belt and is seeking another term to continue the work she started four years ago. And another challenger for council, Scott Marko has spent years working throughout the Bulkley Valley in business and construction and hopes to bring that experience to council come October 17th.
