With less than two years to go before the next Federal election, parties and politicians are already jockeying to capture votes in the northwest riding of Skeena - Bulkley Valley.

Over the past six months Pierre Pollieve, the leader of the Official Opposition Conservatives, has visited the region twice and just last month announced current provincial MLA for Skeena, Ellis Ross, will challenge Member of Parliament Taylor Bacharach to represent Skeena-Bulkley Valley in Ottawa.

Although the rite if far from being dropped, it appears that the race is on.

Today we’ll hear from current MP for Skeena-Bulkley Valley, Taylor Bachrach about his return to the Hill for the Spring sitting and how he feels about the growing support for the Conservative party in northwest B.C. following the challenge by Ellis Ross.
