Earlier this month, the Wet’suwet’en along with the David Suzuki Foundation, called for a work-stop order for the Coastal GasLink pipeline currently being built in Northwest B.C. This followed the discovery that construction at a worksite on Wet’suwet’en territory had resulted in severe damage to parts of the Clore River, a tributary of the Skeena and home to critical populations of chinook and steelhead.

Today we speak with Teabesa and Chief Na’Moks of the Wet’suwet’en who fear the current condition of the Clore River will never recover.
