Sax, bass, drums, electronics, and crazy ideas is the simple & dirty explanation of what's going on here. This band is amazing. Highly skilled, technically speaking, with off-the-charts creativity, somehow blending some pretty recognizable traditional jazz ideas with modern experimental qualities (i.e. delays, programmed bass, other electronics). Awesome stuff, all instrumental, very captivating.
