Review:
Follow up to their 2009 debut, Revolt of Angels, features a range of carefully crafted songs and sophisticated arrangements. A seven-piece, the roots-rockers have a versatile sound incorporating elements of soul, folk, country and rock, while vocal variety is also provided by Norma MacDonald and Becky Siamon. A pleasing restraint to the BTR sound. The album was recorded primarily live off the floor (exclaim). Lots of Hammond organ.
RIYL:
Randy Newman vocals but with Americana roots sound.
