Debut. My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan, ex-Grupo Fantasma guitarist Adrian Quesada and guitarist/vocalist Dante Schwebel of Hacienda. Spanish Gold has its own kind of bounce, a result of Quesada’s command of Latin rhythms and American funk mixed with Hallahan’s love of soul, R&B and hip-hop. Schwebel’s influences dovetail seamlessly. This is most likely a side project for these guys, so enjoy it while you can.
