Then Peter Leblanc talks to us about the BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program as ‘made in BC solution’ to build bridges between locally grown foods and lower-income households.

  • consider where you hold shame and what you celebrate. If your idea of opulence and prestige is exotic fruit at the grocery store, why not forage for local fruit the store doesn’t sell, like black currants, thimbleberries, Saskatoons and soapberries.
  • lobby your local MLA for keeping the BCAssn of FM coupons program
  • write to Fisheries and Oceans Canada today, because they’re currently considering extreme policy changes that would restrict private salmon fishing. Visit www.fishingrights.ca
