Tens of thousands of northerners were without power Saturday and Sunday, after a wicked windstorm blew through the region Saturday night. A few hundred people are still with outpower, as crews work around the clock to restore power to remote communities.
A yellow wind warning alert was issued by Environment Canada, which put first responders and hydro crews on high alert.
