During National Nursing Week, the British Columbia Nurses’ Union (BCNU) is speaking up about nurse patient ratios and better working conditions through their Ratios Save Lives  campaign.  Danny Nesvaderani at CJSF in Burnaby has more. The College of New Caledonia (CNC) held its annual Moose Hide Campaign launch at it’s Prince George campus, Ian Gregg from CFUR Radio was on the ground to hear why the 14 year old campaign is more important than ever. Students at Vancouver Island University’s culinary arts school created A 70 feet long Nanaimo bar, which now holds the world record! Lauryn Mackenzie at CHLY was there to witness culinary feat. Scientists at the University of British Columbia in Victoria have tracked the first Chinook salmon from it’s hatchery 1000km away as part of a migration project. Pam Hassen at CICK News in Smithers brings us that story.
