Today we speak with Luba Kasum, a Ukrainian living in Smithers who has organized a solidarity rally at 4pm later today across from Boston Pizza to show support for those under the threat of Russian invaders in Ukraine. As well, we’ll hear from Pavel from the UFO restaurant on Main Street about what both of them have been hearing from friends and family still on the ground in besieged cities like Kiev and Chernhiv, and why it’s so important to show their support for the people of Ukraine.
