Review:
Cam Penner's album is a call to action. His songs exhibit raw emotion, passion and urgency for change. His years traveling North America working in soup kitchens and homeless shelters have provided the inspiration and experience to write and perform with sincerity. Songs vary from Cam's wailing voice and simple guitar picking to bigger orchestrations that include electric Gibson guitar, pot pounding, foot stomping and distorted vocals bordering on rock/blues genre.
