Review:
Well-established social activist and folk singer/songwriter with Scottish roots, Dunn's new album follows the story of the women who worked at Great Western Garment factory from 1911-2004, many of whom were new immigrants to Canada. The songs are folk storytelling at its finest. Very reminiscent of Woody Guthrie in essence/spirit, not delivery. Sound is vaguely Celtic on a few tracks.
