Born Kiel Germany, now living London, Schnauss has 3 solo albums. Working with Mark Peters, they have created an ambient electronica featuring lots of swooshing synth sounds, guitar and drum machine. Great for relaxing prior to getting teeth pulled. Pitchfork said "Schnauss' music "begs for a riskier approach, something with bolder strokes and an infusion of drama that risks cheesiness." Same could be said of Underrated Silence.
