Sophie Heppell and Melissa Walker have spent the last six years perfecting the formula that was to become the Edmonton based band Two Bears North. Performed, toured, and recorded with Scott Cook and 100 Mile House. Does anyone remember east coast band Plumtree...sounds similar. The recording is well produced, definitely on the raw side of a basement recording. Their beats are simple, the lyrics are a little more involved, both are satisfying.
