Review:
3rd studio album. Gathering explores new ideas and avenues to push the envelope of Celtic and Folk but retain their strong connection to the past. They are a blend of The Pogues and Mumford & Sons, but with great instrumental chops. Plenty of celtic reels and influence from Stan Rogers. Very good beer swilling, east coast, clogging music. Track 1 is all a bag pipe opener. Vocals lead by Joel Guenther. 2 time winner of Hamilton Music Award.
