Nick Waterhouse's 2nd album contains a mix of covers and original tunes, some co-written with Ty Segall, another Orange County musician. He has an interesting and expressive voice and the tunes touch on interesting themes. However, the album lacks on the production side with back-up vocals that seem distant and often the overall sound lacks clarity, depth and resolution.
