Mid Atlantic is a four piece orchestral post-rock band. This, their first album, is a result of the band’s two year fermentation of writing and performing in Calgary’s burgeoning music scene. Heavy classical influence add to the progressively driven rhythms and time signatures, and distinctive and memorable melodies. Tracks often open with simple piano and build into big guitar and drum thrashing. Minimal production.
