I really like MGMT. They're a psychedelic rock duo with roots in the sort of psych-pop that came out in the 1960s/70s. Their first album got a lot of commercial success and had some super catchy tunes (Time to Pretend, Kids). Thier second was less successful, less synths, more guitars. This one is grounded in musical exploration but still has vocal hooks. Really good stuff.
