Debut for a trio that has only been together for a year. Debut #2 on UK charts. It begins with frostbitten chords which are soon joined by guitars that recall the xx at their most spectral and, eventually, Hannah Reid's vocals(pitchfork). Album is tonally uniform throughout and uses excellent production, restrained composition, Reid's emphatic voice and spacey electronic/acoustic background sounds.
