Family band comprised of the sons of South African-born singer-songwriter John Kongos. Some strong tracks showing eclectic pop-rock musicianship while others veer off into top-40 land. It's almost as if they are unable to decide whether to be experimental and make a sound that's distinctly their own, or grab some of the filthy lucre like the Kings of Leon and others. Some genre hopping but imagine Yeasayer crossed with Bon Jovi with occasional accordion(sound of confusion).
