Polished production from this Can-pop guy. There are hints of Queen and Ben Folds. He's a good songwriter for sure, with a sense of humour in his lyrics. Definitely commercial and CBC radio fodder. Kind of cool trivia tidbit: for his first album, he toured the country by bike, from Seattle to Halifax.
