Fourth full-length LP showcases his talents of being able to balance both up-tempo and softer numbers, as opposed to the indie-pop sounds of his former releases. Delicate use of synth, strings and background vocals makes for a good album. First proverbial big break came one night at Théâtre St. Denis when Ian was working on the local sound crew at an Alanis Morissette show. They were short an opening act and Ian volunteered.
