Aka Ricky Dred (born Kofi “Friday” Carmichael) was incarcerated in The Don late 2009 (one of the closing jails in Toronto) for drugs and firearms possession (sentenced to 3yrs 9mths but released on parole Feb 2011). Lyrics focus a lot on his street and incarceration experience. Boom Bap style. Minimal sampling. Good but full of potty mouth.
