After meeting at a song writing camp in Nashville, Joy Williams and John Paul White formed the band in 2008. Released Poison & Wine in 2009 as digital download, followed by Barton Hollow in 2011. They won two grammys in 2012 but broke up in Dec. 2012 citing "internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition." They album is primarily beautifully constructed folk ballads featuring Joy William's great voice. Some Country influence.
