Jason Collett(broken social scene) and Howie Beck(feist) help produce and broaden Stone's sonic palette from his alt-country-exploring earlier work with a mix of "graceful pop" and "hushed tones." Album is dedicated to Stone’s mentor and close friend, Jay Smith, a veteran musician in Nova Scotia who died weeks prior to recording. #2,6,9 are most upbeat, pop songs while the remainder are more folk/singer-songwriter.
