primarily a Soca artist- a percussive, often high-speed, calypso-influenced Caribbean music. Garlin blends dancehall, EDM and even trap ("Truck on D Road," with A$AP Ferg) into his sound, without ever seeming like he's trying too hard. It's soca for the Spotify generation(rolling stone). Very energetic and some very good dance tracks and a good remix of his 2013 hit, differentology(8). (avoid the vo-coder tracks)
