Review:
Six piece band lead by Michael Ford Jr.'s falsetto vocals, their 3rd album turns away from folk to fuller instrumentation pop sounds. Their break came in 2011 when their album, American Nomad, helped win the band opening slots for Mumford & Sons and the Newport Folk Festival. Not happy with the folk labelling, they walked into Fairfax Recordings with the intention of making something different. Look for synth, bass, echoey vocals acoustic and electric guitar and drums.
