Review:
3rd album from the quartet. 2 of the four mbrs are from Alberta, thus the name. Frontman Joel Bravo moved to Van from NY. Moving away from their previous pop efforts, this album brings on a dark, complex, heady dose of analog synths, symphonic drones and ’80s guitar romantics ripped right out of Twin Peaks. Kosmische-tinted atmospheres. Minimal, whispered vocals. Very, very good.
