Tricia Edwards is a talented pianist, and her album Intaglios is quality afro-cuban jazz. It steers clear of the conventional elevator jazz sounds commonly found in the genre. There is a healthy amount of percussion on this album, although she and he bandmates could stand to offer more creativity in their solos.
