Review:
Fully instrumental. Formed in 1985 as Black Flag influenced hardcore act Virulence, Fu Manchu helped give rise to an iconic style of "Stoner Rock" born of the desert alongside peers Kyuss, Monster Magnet, and Sleep. On their 12th studio album Clone of the Universe, they carry the torch of straight ahead blistering rock and unexpected time shifts, complete with a guest appearance by Alex Lifeson of RUSH.
