Debut from roots-based duo comprised of singers/songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Catherine Allan and Andrew James O'Brien. Guests include Jenn Grant, Don Brownrigg, and Daniel Ledwell, plus string and horn players to flesh out their varied compositions(newcanadianmusic). #7 (picture in a frame) is a Tom Waits cover. Tracks range from up-tempo folk that's all the rage, to sweet ballads with trembling vibraphone.
