Stripped-down, minimalist indie rock. The Famines is just two people: Raymond E. Biesinger on guitar and vox, and Garrett Heath Kruger on drums. This is driving, straight-from-the-soul rock and roll. They've been compared to The Who and if you think very early, gritty Who, you get the comparison. Not many people can pull off a two-piece like this, but The Famines do a pretty great job.
