An eclectic mix of styles with an Americana backbone and hip hop, soul and blues influences. Gruff folk-Americana vocals sometimes veer into territory that sounds more like hip hop or spoken word. Clearly a lot of time spent in the studio layering sounds, including chants, loops and foot-stomping drums that make an appearance in more than a couple tracks.
