Program:

All last week, I watched as a new children’s playground was being installed on the Moricetown RV campsite. Jason James has been contracted to build this playground, suited for the younger children who visit our campsite each summer. One of the requirements of this particular playground--and I believe the one that makes this one stand head and shoulders above all the other playgrounds in our village--is its indigenous flavour. Jason visited us in the early spring to get input from our elders and our youths on what they think would give this playground a distinctively Witsuwit’en feel. We’ll be talking to Jason today.

I also went foraging for soapberries this week with Betty Tait! Hear how to forage, what soapberries are like (in case you've never been lucky enough to try them) and how easy they are to prepare.
