YOU’RE THE CREAM IN MY COFFEE comes from the 1930 Warner Brothers comedy film HOLD EVERYTHING. The movie was based on a broadway play of the same name. It stared one of my favorite actor’s Joe. E Brown who is known for his role as the millionaire in the 1958 film Some Like it Hot.

Hold Everything was an early all-talking film. It was the first musical comedy film to be released that was photographed entirely in early two colour technicolour.

In 1930, this was the first film shown at the newly opened Warner Bros. Hollywood Theatre, a luxurious New York City movie palace.

Audrey in Silk, Bill King original piano music from the album Cinemascope (2013) 4:54, Label: 7Arts/Slaight Music/Fontana North

King was inspired to write this song about Audrey Hepburn and believes cinema is about preserving the grand beauty of life.

We’ll Meet Again, Zooey Deschanel & M Ward, from Album She & Him Classics (2014), (3:22)

From the 1943 movie of same name starring Vera Lynn. Zooey Deschanel is an actress most known for her role in Almost Famous, Elf and the TV show New Girl
