Gregg Braden | Deep Truth | ||
A. Wiliams |
Today is the last day of Gregg Braden's book Deep Truth. It has been an interesting and enlightening listen. We are left with the idea of paying attention to how we want our world to be and to help create it. We all have a say. We are all, each one of us, a piece of energy of the whole. How we have impact is to become the person we want to be, then we are at our strongest. The focus is on the journey not the destination. With energy, there is no end.
War is not innate to humans. It is a recent invention (within the last 5000) years. It is not our basic nature. Our basic nature is one of co-operation and that is proving true for animals, too. The old Dawinian idea of survival of the fittest is not considered the the whole truth anymore. Nowadays we see so much more co-operation among animals, perhaps because it is allowed more. I know that I lived around bears alot at one time. If it was only about survival of the fittest, they could have eaten us for dinner a thousand times over. But they didn't. They respectfully got off the trail, or moved away without showing any threatening behaviour.
