Hello Community Radio lovers.

I am pleased to pass on the following latest news in the world of Smithers Community Radio.

Thanks to the help of a $1000 grant from BV Credit Union, Bronze and Silver level sponsorships from Naturally Empowered and Mountain Eagle Books respectively, and approximately 20 new community radio memberships, we were able to purchase a new 2 tray CD Player.
We also purchased a phone and had a line installed. Now you can call in and talk to your favorite dj at 847-8769.

We are streaming live! This is a very big deal and exciting for those people who want to listen but are out of the listening area. Check it out the links at our www.smithersradio.com site.

We have approximately 15 different locally produced shows being aired on our station, but we still need to add more. Get the word out there and inspire people to bring their shows forward. The best time slots are disappearing, so get your show in now.
